Fox auditioned for Transformers by washing director’s car

Michael Bay made Megan Fox audition for her role in Transformers, by washing his car — while he filmed her.

British movie critic Jason Solomons unearthed the truth behind Bay’s unorthodox casting techniques in interviews with the pair.

Solomons writes, “He made her wash his Ferrari while he filmed her. (Fox) said she didn’t know what had happened to that footage. When I put it to Bay himself, he looked suitably abashed – ‘Er, I don’t know where it is either’. “

Errrr…. You don’t lose that kind of video Michael.

The odd audition might go some way to explaining tension between Bay and Fox since the movie’s release.

Hollywood actress Megan Fox worked as an ‘bikini-clad’ extra in director Michael Bay’s ‘Bad Boys’ sequel. In an interview to Entertainment Weekly the ‘Transformers’ star revealed that’s she was just 15 when she got a role as a “club kid” in the Will Smith film. And insists that she had a great time dancing under a waterfall in a skimpy stars-and-stripes bikini along with a cowboy hat.


“I was still in ninth grade. I liked it at the time, because I was getting out of school,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

“I got paid extra because if you allow them (crew) to put water on you, you get paid extra. I got probably 600 dollars.

“I thought it was awesome. I was going to a Christian high school and I wasn’t a feminist yet… I just did what I was told to do,” she added. (ANI)
